KINGSTON & DISTRICTS NETBALL ASSOCIATION

KDNA FIRST AID

Greg Lynch is our First-aid officer who is a fully qualified Physiotherapy aid.

Apart from watching his two daughters play netball Greg’s other interests are golf, rugby union, touch rugby.

Greg is also a fully accredited Australian Touch Rugby referee.

Greg started in first-aid a few months ago taking over from Julie Kavanagh.

With the warmer months upon us, Greg asks that players hydrate properly before, during and after a match and apply sun screen regularly on the hot and sunny days (available from information window)

Injuries in netball are usually in the foot/leg and he can not stress enough the importance of footwear. Good quality runners prevent injuries. Volley or Converse shoes might be a fashion item but do not fit the bill of quality runners. (Athletes foot are on site on the first Saturday of the month.)

A quiet day for Greg is a good day for the players.

Greg hopes to see you on the courts at Dales Park during the year and not in the first- aid room.
